Adam Weiner counsels on and litigates matters regarding discrimination, harassment, Form I-9, E-Verify, wage-and-hour compliance, leaves of absence, personnel policies, reductions in force, contractors, separation agreements, restrictive covenants, and other labor and employment issues. His clients span the United States, and he is adept at tailoring his legal solutions to a client's particular circumstances and culture. Adam regularly litigates in state and federal courts, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), state and local human rights commissions, and in arbitration and mediation. He has substantial experience litigating single-plaintiff, multi-plaintiff, class-action, and collective-action lawsuits regarding employment discrimination, harassment, breach of contract, trade secrets, restrictive covenants, wage-and-hour, and other employment-related disputes.
Adam provides labor and employment law support in mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, he frequently assists startups and other emerging companies with workforce-related issues. His experience also includes advising and defending companies regarding union organizing and collective bargaining disputes before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), as well as employee immigration law compliance.
Adam maintains a robust pro bono practice focused on asylum and immigration-related claims. He has successfully represented asylum seekers from Cameroon, Egypt, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and Uzbekistan.
