Aaron Schindler represents innovative companies across the chemistry, biotechnology, and technology sectors in high-stakes disputes involving patents on drug therapies, chemical processes, and advanced technologies.
Aaron earned his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he concentrated on IP and litigation and served as managing editor of the Wisconsin Law Review. Prior to joining the firm, Aaron was a judicial intern for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. His academic training is complemented by substantial firm training in patent litigation, including claim construction, discovery strategy, expert witness practice, and Hatch‑Waxman and inter partes review proceedings.
He regularly works with scientific experts and technical materials, such as patents, prior art, regulatory documents, and R&D records. Before his law career, Aaron received his M.A. in physics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Semaglutide (Ozempic® / Wegovy®) patent litigation (Viatris).
Represented a generic manufacturer in high-stakes litigation involving GLP-1 peptide therapeutics. Conducted extensive document review and analysis of scientific and regulatory materials, supported preparation for fact and expert depositions, and assisted with deficiency analyses and discovery strategy.
Nasal vaccine license and patent dispute.
Cross-border dispute involving biologics/vaccine technology and European patent rights. Researched supplementary protection certificates and European market exclusivity, analyzed regulatory approval timelines in relation to patent coverage, and successfully negotiated fair licensing royalties and avoided litigation.
Kurita America Inc. v. DuPont
Patent infringement dispute involving biotechnology applications. Drafted and revised pleadings, including portions of the complaint, conducted prior-art research and invalidity analysis, and assisted with discovery planning, expert coordination, and case strategy.
Aripiprazole (Abilify®) patent litigation (Viatris).
Pharmaceutical patent litigation involving validity issues under 35 U.S.C. § 102. Researched prior-art and statutory grace period issues, drafted portions of pretrial submissions, and supported development of invalidity arguments.
