LONDON (November 11, 2024) - Perkins Coie has relocated its growing London office to 22 Bishopsgate, a landmark skyscraper located in the heart of the city’s financial district. The move provides a more expansive space for the firm’s European technology-focused corporate practice which was formally established just six months ago.

The practice continues to grow quickly, and the new office will enable the firm to better accommodate its growth in London and Europe. Perkins Coie’s dynamic office at 22 Bishopsgate offers a mix of conference, event, and client collaboration spaces with top tier amenities and expansive London views.

“We have a shared strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with many of our clients and will continue to accelerate our presence and talent base of high-performing lawyers advising growth companies,” said London office managing partner Ian Bagshaw. “Our new European headquarters and growing team are key to our business objectives and ability to serve high-growth tech companies and their founders, private equity funds, and sophisticated family offices.”

The relocation to a world class office building further expands the capabilities for Perkins Coie to serve clients seamlessly across Europe and its continued ability to attract and retain leading legal and business talent.

“We’ve moved at pace to quickly establish our presence backed by Perkins Coie’s strength and deep experience advising global technology companies and the innovators of tomorrow,” said Jan Andrusko, European Head of M&A. “We have a highly motivated team able to help clients excel and are advising innovative tech groups, emerging companies, and startups that are incubating new innovation.”

Perkins Coie’s European tech-focused corporate practice is committed to attracting topflight legal talent and to developing the next generation of lawyers. Its Legal Business Analyst (LBA) program offers bespoke legal and business training as well as a gateway to Perkins Coie’s upcoming U.K. trainee solicitor program. The office also works closely with Zero Gravity to recruit top graduate talent from low opportunity backgrounds, including for the LBA program.

The landmark skyscraper 22 Bishopsgate is a leading workplace destination and one of the first buildings in the U.K. to achieve the WELL Core & Shell Accreditation aimed at optimizing tenant wellbeing. Its power is derived from fully renewable energy sources including wind and solar energy.
