Perkins Coie Significantly Expands Washington, D.C., Office Space to Meet Continued Business Growth

Washington, D.C. (March 10, 2020) – Perkins Coie has significantly expanded its Washington, D.C., office space near Metro Center Station to better meet the growing demand for its legal services in the nation's capital. With more than 245 attorneys and professional staff, the Washington, D.C., office is the firm's second-largest.

The firm has increased its leased office space on 13th Street, NW, by an additional floor of more than 22,000 square feet to provide collaborative new office and conference center space, as well as a private, secured mother's room and wellness room. The number of attorneys and professional staff in the Washington, D.C., office has increased by 21% from 202 attorneys and staff in 2015.

In addition to its business growth, the office has also been recognized for its outstanding commitment to pro bono service by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services. Ninety-seven of the office's attorneys have worked thousands of pro bono hours in the past year on numerous cases, including in support of the Capital Area Immigrants' Rights (CAIR) Coalition, DC Volunteer Lawyers Project, Legal Counsel for the Elderly and National Veterans Legal Services Program.
