Perkins Coie Shortlisted in 2025 FT Innovative Lawyers Europe Awards
LONDON (August 1, 2025)—Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that it has been shortlisted in two categories for the 2025 Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Europe Awards, a prestigious recognition of the firm’s commitment to innovation and continued momentum in the UK legal market.
The firm has been recognized in the following categories:
- Innovation in Training and Development for its Legal Business Analyst Programme, which provides an alternative pathway into the legal profession through multidisciplinary training and immersive legal experience.
- Intrapreneur for Ian Bagshaw, Perkins Coie’s London office managing partner, for his entrepreneurial leadership and instrumental role in establishing and growing the firm’s presence in the region.
“This is proof of what we’ve built in just over a year,” said Bagshaw. “We set out to do things differently in London, to combine top-tier legal talent with a culture of innovation, inclusion, and collaboration. This recognition from the FT is a milestone in this journey.”
The Legal Business Analyst Programme was launched alongside the opening of Perkins Coie’s London office in 2024 and forms a core part of the firm’s approach to talent development and innovation. The programme is designed to equip early career professionals with a blend of legal, commercial, and technical skills.
This recognition follows the firm’s recent expansion and relocation to 22 Bishopsgate, a landmark London skyscraper and a symbol of Perkins Coie’s long-term commitment to the UK market.
The awards ceremony takes place on September 18 at the Natural History Museum.
