Perkins Coie Ranked No. 27 on The American Lawyer’s 2025 Pro Bono Scorecard
SEATTLE (August 4, 2025)—Perkins Coie is proud to announce that it ranks No. 27 on The American Lawyer 2025 Pro Bono Scorecard, the firm’s highest-ever ranking. This marks a 12-spot jump from 2024 and 38-spot increase from 2023, reflecting the strength of the firm’s pro bono culture and commitment to providing legal services to those in need.
The ranking scores Am Law 200 firms on pro bono work performed by U.S.-based lawyers. Half the score reflects the average number of pro bono hours performed per lawyer in 2024, while the other half reflects the percentage of lawyers who contributed at least 20 pro bono hours over the calendar year. Last year, 61% of Perkins Coie lawyers completed at least 20 hours of pro bono service.
“Perkins Coie is committed to pro bono service because we know it strengthens our communities, upholds foundational rights, and helps close critical justice gaps,” said Julie LaEace, senior pro bono counsel and director of social responsibility. “Pro bono service also enriches our professional lives, helping us foster collaboration, build skills, and connect with meaningful causes. Each member of the firm that partakes in pro bono service helps to advance access to justice and reflects the values that we hold dear.”
