Barak Cohen Quoted in Washington Lawyer—5 Issues to Watch in 2023
Partner Barak Cohen was quoted in "5 Issues to Watch in 2023," an article in Washington Lawyer regarding cannabis legalization.
"It's encouraging to see a president take the issue seriously and address it head on," said Barak, co-chair of the Cannabis Law industry group at Perkins Coie LLP.
"The recent pardon was a very, very encouraging signal. And the discussions regarding rescheduling or descheduling [marijuana] are very encouraging. They indicate a new seriousness."
