As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to upend every aspect of our businesses and our economy, it is imperative that we adapt to the new normal of litigating successfully in a remote environment.
Through discussions with the top remote deposition technology providers and litigators throughout the country who have already participated in remote depositions, we have compiled a list of tips and best practices. This list will assist in effectively scheduling, preparing for, taking, and defending remote depositions.
Even after current quarantine and stay-at-home orders are lifted, remote depositions are likely to become the norm. This blog post discusses how litigators and litigants can benefit from the available technology to continue the deposition discovery process while quarantined in their home offices.
