On Thursday, September 9, 2021, Perkins Coie hosted a panel discussion addressing the implications of the dormant commerce clause on state cannabis programs. The panel was moderated by Andrew Kline, senior counsel at Perkins Coie and former public policy director for the National Cannabis Industry Association. Our panelists included Professor Robert Mikos, LaRoche Family Chair in Law at Vanderbilt University and author of the recently released law review article titled Interstate Commerce in Cannabis, Shaleen Title, CEO of Parabola Center and former cannabis control commissioner for the state of Massachusetts, and Jeremy Unruh, senior vice president of public and regulatory affairs at Pharmacann.
