The panel discussed the latest developments in PTAB practice, including updated strategies for petitioners and patent owners in view of the latest rulemaking and interim guidance from the director, current perspectives on estoppel and the impact on system art in parallel district court litigation, and real party-in-interest issues, including approaches to communicating with joint defense groups.
