Ronald A. McIntire
With more than 35 years in practice at Perkins Coie, Ron is a leader in real estate and commercial litigation.
Ron McIntire represents clients engaged in real estate litigation, including in such matters as lease disputes, wrongful eviction, easements, unlawful detainers, title disputes, foreclosures, and property damage. He also counsels clients in receivership actions involving a wide variety of commercial properties, ranging from strip malls to major shopping centers to apartment buildings.
In commercial litigation matters, Ron advises clients in contractual disputes, fraud actions, and partnership disputes.
Ron brings significant experience in product liability and aviation litigation, including air crash, asbestos, and construction and electrical equipment litigation.
Committed to pro bono work, Ron volunteers for Westside Legal Services, Public Counsel, Bet Tzedek, and Alliance for Children's Rights.

Multiple representations of commercial and residential property owners, major hotel chains, developers, lenders, special servicers, master servicers, air freight companies, and tuna fishing companies in a wide variety of matters.
Product Liability
Astrium, S.A.S. v. TRW Inc.
Successfully represented Corning Inc. against product liability and commercial claims arising out of the alleged degraded performance of six telecommunication satellites, with $135 million in damages claimed. Judgment in Corning Inc.'s favor affirmed by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. 254 F. Supp. 2d 1129 (C.D. Cal. 2003), aff'd, 197 F. App'x. 575 (9th Cir. 2006)
Polinger v. Delta Air Lines
Granted summary judgment based on the "sophisticated user defense" and lack of causation affirmed on appeal.
Schine v. Orco Aviation Inc.
Won defense jury trial verdict for carburetor manufacturer in case brought by children of victims of airplane crash. Successfully defended that judgment on appeal. 2003 WL 2008192 (Cal. Ct. App.)
