Matthew A. Lembo

Matthew A. Lembo is a counsel in the firm's Intellectual Property (IP) practice, focusing on patent litigation.

 As an integral member of numerous trial teams, Matthew has experience in every stage of litigation from the pleadings through appeal, and has applied his broad scientific knowledge to technologies ranging from pharmaceuticals to complex mechanical and electrical devices.

Prior to joining Perkins Coie, Matthew served as a patent examiner for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) while simultaneously earning his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. After graduating from law school, Matthew clerked for the Honorable Raymond C. Clevenger, III of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, followed by the Honorable Leonard P. Stark of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
