Kristie advises companies dealing with sensitive and high-stakes commercial and employment matters, including complex litigation.
Kristie Beaudoin leads litigation teams across the country in state and federal courts in complex commercial disputes—including antitrust, product liability, and contract claims—as well as employment-related litigation. She also represents employers in arbitration and before administrative agencies, including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, and state employment agencies. Kristie is particularly skilled at shepherding a case through the discovery process with an eye toward resolution before trial, and she has secured complete dismissals for multiple clients at the dispositive motion stage.
In addition to her litigation practice, Kristie counsels clients on employment-related matters, including employee classification, restrictive covenants, leaves of absence, and risk mitigation. She also regularly conducts internal investigations, often in collaboration with lawyers in the firm’s White Collar & Investigations practice. Clients ranging from major tech companies and Fortune 500 corporations to family offices and startups trust Kristine to handle sensitive issues with strategic insight and practical judgment.
On multiple occasions, Kristie has been seconded to clients with intensive, short-term employment and/or litigation needs. As a result of these secondments, Kristie has a firsthand appreciation for the diverse responsibilities and priorities of in-house legal departments. These experiences guide Kristie's efforts to help her clients develop practical and effective strategies for both addressing and preventing legal issues.
Kristie maintains a robust pro bono practice focused on improving access to healthcare and protecting the constitutional and legal rights of vulnerable members of society. Her background includes substantial litigation and advocacy in areas where legal protections are rapidly evolving and often contested. Kristie was recently awarded the J. Shan Mullin Award for her dedicated pro bono work in the Phoenix community.
