Ji (Tracey) Wang is a graduate of the George Washington University Law School with a concentration in intellectual property, where she served as a legal research assistant in the Intellectual Property Program. Ji was a summer associate and law clerk at Perkins Coie from 2021 to 2022, and was a judicial intern for the Hon. Victor A. Bolden at the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut in 2020.
With graduate degrees in computer engineering and applied mathematics, Ji has an extensive background in various technical areas in electrical engineering and computer engineering, including wireless communication (5G), machine learning, game theory, and image processing. Prior to attending law school, Ji spent more than five years working as a software engineer and familiar with various computer programming technologies, including C++, Ruby on Rails, relational/nonrelational database, and Angular. She is also an Amazon AWS certified developer.
Additionally, Ji has three years of experience doing research in wireless communication. She is the lead author on three published papers for international conference focusing on applying machine learning algorithms in 5G communication protocol design. One of her published papers was awarded the best paper award at the IEEE Communications Society’s international conference on Communications Quality and Reliability (CQR 2016).
