One of the most highly regarded investment management lawyers, Carl Frischling, prior to his retirement represented leaders in the financial services industry on laws and regulations pertaining to financial services, investment companies, and mutual funds. His clients included independent trustees and directors, investment advisers, and investment companies.
Carl was named by the Fund Directions publication as the inaugural Independent Counsel Award in 2006 and received the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013. He was also honored as one among 50 recipients of the Visionary Award in 2011.
Carl is a director emeritus and original director of the Mutual Fund Directors Forum. He currently serves on the advisory board of BoardIQ and on the editorial board of Money Management Executive. He also serves as an advisory board member of Columbia University Medical Center.
