She is adept at balancing the competing concerns of gift and estate tax issues, income tax issues, and California property tax issues under Proposition 13. Caitlin’s background in litigation enables her to anticipate and prevent family conflict through careful planning.
Caitlin represents clients in the negotiation and preparation of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, often using a collaborative process in which the parties and their lawyers work together toward a mutually agreeable outcome. She also counsels clients on the best practices for preservation of separate property rights and interests both before and during marriage.
