Benjamin Cashdollar
Ben Cashdollar is an associate in Perkins Coie's Patent Prosecution & Portfolio Counseling practice.
As a summer associate for the firm in 2019, Ben assisted in prosecuting several patent applications, working with a variety of technologies including medical devices and consumer appliances. Ben also performed freedom to operate searches, and drafted memoranda regarding obviousness-type double patenting and applicant naming requirements for patent applications having multiple inventors with varied assignment obligations.
While earning his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, Ben worked in the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic to provide pro bono representation on intellectual property matters to entrepreneurs and businesses in the greater Seattle area. In addition, Ben worked with CoMotion, the university's commercialization center, to perform patent landscape analyses for student inventors.
