Ako Miyaki-Murphy
Associate Ako Miyaki-Murphy focuses her practice on trusts and estate planning.
Ako has experience developing estate plans and preparing documents for domestic and international clients, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney and medical directives.
Ako has assisted clients with trust administration and state probate, including the recovery of assets in the United States left by foreign decedents and assets outside the country left by U.S. decedents. She also has experience coordinating and facilitating communication among Japanese-speaking fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and tax professionals, as well as preparing and filing U.S. and Washington state estate tax returns on behalf of estates.
