Perkins Coie Announces 2020 Senior Counsel Promotions

SEATTLE (January 7, 2020) - Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that two attorneys have been promoted to senior counsel, effective January 1, 2020. Senior counsels have at least eight years of experience, are recognized for delivering high-quality legal work, are able to supervise junior lawyers and staff, and collaborate with partners on managing client engagements.

The Perkins Coie 2020 Senior Counsel Class includes:

  • Evan S. Day (San Diego)

  • Kathleen (Kate) A. Stetsko (Chicago)

Evan S. Day (San Diego) is a member of Perkins Coie's Intellectual Property practice. Evan's practice focuses on complex patent litigation in multiple forums, including various U.S. District Courts, Section 337 investigations before the U.S. International Trade Commission, and post-grant procedures, including inter partes review trials before the USPTO Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

Kate Stetsko (Chicago) is a member of Perkins Coie's Commercial Litigation practice. Kate focuses on complex commercial litigation, including business law, product liability, and appellate law. She regularly advises clients on commercial disputes and remedies, from working capital calculation disputes to multimillion-dollar arbitrations and trials.
