Trevor Bervik
Trevor Bervik represents and counsels clients on their intellectual property matters, with an emphasis on patent litigation.
He has work experience in patent preparation and prosecution in both the public and private sectors and is familiar with the patent landscape in both domestic and foreign jurisdictions, including Europe, China, and Japan.
Trevor's experience in many facets of patent law is influential in how he approaches and evaluates complex technological issues. His work in both patent prosecution and as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is instrumental in providing Trevor with a deep understanding of all phases of the patent lifecycle. Equally significant, his education in physics and engineering provides a crucial understanding of scientific innovations and contributes to his ability to handle patent related matters in various technology areas, including consumer electronics, wearable technologies, optics, semiconductor design and fabrication, biometric capture and analysis, nuclear energy, and software.
