Philip C. Simon
Philip is an intellectual property associate with a background in physics and experience in thermodynamics, engine design and operation, related mechanical systems, semiconductors and medical devices.
Before joining the firm, Philip Simon spent a summer as a law clerk with the Colorado Public Defenders, drafting motions, appeals and a petition for certiorari to the Colorado Supreme Court.
Phil is a graduate of New York University School of Law. While studying for his law degree, he worked as a research assistant for Professor Katherine Strandburg and spent a semester as an extern in NYU's Tech Transfer Office assessing the patentability of university inventions. He also served as the 2018-19 editor-in-chief of the Journal of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law.
