Kathryn Campbell
Kathryn Campbell represents large and mid-sized clients in complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal court on a variety of business disputes and white-collar issues.
Her experience includes representing clients in contract disputes, healthcare litigation, internal investigations, business torts, False Claims Act violations, trade secret and unfair competition claims, as well as products liability claims.
Kathryn has successfully drafted and argued appeals in front of the Illinois Appellate Court. She has also drafted complaints and answers, discovery requests, responses, and motions, motions to dismiss including for forum non conveniens, motions for temporary restraining orders, arbitration briefs, and prehearing briefs. Kathryn has managed all phases of discovery, including developing, negotiating, and implementing document search parameters, drafting discovery requests and responses, motions to compel, subpoenas for documents, and testimony and protective orders.
In her pro bono practice, Kathryn has obtained a grant of asylum for an individual who fled to the United States after being incarcerated for sexual orientation. She has also successfully settled civil rights claims on behalf of incarcerated offenders.
