Patrick is a trusted advisor to clients engaged in the acquisition, development, marketing, sale, and distribution of innovative technologies.

Patrick Basinski has extensive experience in intellectual property (IP) and commercial legal matters involving cloud services, software, artificial intelligence (AI), clean tech, and Internet of Things (IoT) products and services.

Former in-house counsel for Microsoft and Dell, Patrick brings an informed and practical business perspective to his representations. He has also served as outside counsel to established, multinational corporations and early-stage businesses alike. As a result, he has honed his ability to structure and lead strategic technology, commercial, and IP licensing transactions. Additionally, he is adept at providing targeted advice and counseling to businesses in connection with the development, acquisition, and disposition of software, hardware, cloud services, clean technologies, and related services.
