Justin Potesta works with clients to develop compliance strategies for the development, deployment, and use of AI, ML, and computer vision technologies.
Justin Potesta advises companies on biometric privacy, model training and deployment, and AI governance.
Justin also regularly counsels clients on financial privacy and consumer protection issues, primarily those involving consumer reporting and risk scoring governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. In this space, his clients include fintech companies, background check providers, consumer reporting agencies, and digital asset and blockchain companies.
In addition to his role as an advisor, Justin defends clients in class-action litigation regarding a range of privacy and cybersecurity issues. He has also represented clients faced with regulatory investigations by the Federal Trade Commission, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and state attorneys general.
