Justin Moon helps the world’s largest technology companies and Fortune 100 clients develop business- and industry-focused solutions to their most critical legal needs, including the legal, business, and practical implications of generative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. Justin’s counsel also extends to the intellectual property and ethical considerations raised by AI technologies, as well as related regulatory developments.
Justin advises industry leaders on a range of digital transformation and cloud computing arrangements, from the infrastructure to the application layer. These include platform services and issues related to connected devices, where he has helped clients with product launches and contractual and regulatory challenges related to smart city infrastructure projects, smart home solutions, and platform and mobile applications. Justin’s nearly two decades of experience encompass licensing, outsourcing, professional services, and other information technology and commercial transactions, as well as enterprise and consumer software and services, including the use and distribution of open-source software.
As part of his pro bono practice, Justin helps nonprofit entities seeking 501(c)(3) status and advises them on a breadth of commercial agreements and related legal matters. He also supports and serves on the board of Third Stone, the nonprofit entity behind Bumbershoot, Seattle’s iconic arts and music festival.
