Fiona Brophy works with some of the world’s most innovative companies and the venture capital (VC) funds that invest in them. Her clients span industries including consumer e-commerce, digital media, information technology, cloud infrastructure and services, artificial intelligence, and robotics.
Fiona has advised private companies and VC funds in hundreds of transactions, including financing and private equity transactions, debt financings, complex restructurings, and spin-off transactions. Her emerging company clients include Box, Inc., CoreOS, Hound Technology, R-Zero Systems, Trulia, and Intrinsic Innovations. She also has a robust mergers and acquisitions (M&A) practice, advising private companies on the sell-side and serial public and private company acquirors.
Fiona is nationally recognized by Chambers as a leading lawyer in startups, venture capital, and emerging companies, and by the Legal 500 for her M&A skills. In addition to serving clients, Fiona has held numerous leadership positions within Perkins Coie, including as co-chair of the Emerging Companies & Venture Capital practice and chair of the firmwide Partner Compensation Committee.
