Overview

Danielle Harlan is an associate in the Litigation practice of the firm's Dallas office.

Before joining Perkins Coie, Danielle graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where she served as case note and comment editor of the International Law Review, member of Women in Law, chief justice for the Board of Advocates, and member and later chief of the Criminal Litigation Clinic. During her time in the Criminal Litigation Clinic, Danielle argued several motions before Dallas County district judges. Danielle also externed for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas and the Honorable E. Lee Morris of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.

Prior to attending law school, Danielle worked as a consultant in Beijing, China.

Beginning in August 2024, Danielle plans to clerk for two years for the Honorable David Counts of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.
