PORTLAND (March 28, 2022)—Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that Justin Gonzales, a Mergers and Acquisitions partner in the firm’s Portland office, has been selected as a 2022 Forty Under 40 award winner by the Portland Business Journal.

The Portland Business Journal recognition honors 40 young professionals for outstanding leadership in their careers and compelling community involvement. As a 2022 Forty Under 40 class member, Justin joins a group of influential, dynamic, and powerful individuals helping to shape Portland’s future. 

At Perkins Coie, Justin focuses his legal practice on mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, investments, joint ventures, corporate governance, and other corporate matters for public and private clients. He has represented strategic buyers, private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and companies pursuing sell-side deals in domestic and cross-border merger and acquisition transactions. These involve a wide variety of industries, including software and technology, renewable energy, information services, manufacturing, and music.

In 2021, Justin was named to The Deal’s Top Rising Stars list, which recognizes the most promising new U.S.-based mergers and acquisitions partners. Justin also maintains a pro bono practice and community involvement, advising clients and small businesses in the Portland area on corporate issues and serving as a member of the board of directors of Latino Network.
