SEATTLE, Wash. (March 13, 2017) - Perkins Coie represented Samis Foundation, a nonprofit organization supporting Jewish education and services, through its affiliate 2nd Avenue Real Estate Investments LLC, in the execution of a 99 year ground lease on behalf of ground lessor, with Skanska USA Commercial Development for the development and construction of 2+U, a 38 story, Class A Building, at 1201 Second Avenue, Seattle, WA. The unique lifted tower will span an entire city block, offering 665,000 square feet office space, 18,500 square feet of retail space, and 30,000 square feet of covered, outdoor, open space.
