(October 13, 2014) - Perkins Coie represented Rentrak Corporation (NASDAQ:RENT), the entertainment and marketing industries’ premier provider of worldwide consumer viewership information, in connection with its $98 million acquisition of the U.S. television measurement business of WPP’s Kantar business unit and related $56 million private placement of Rentrak’s common stock. Kantar, one of the world's largest insight, information and consultancy groups, provides business insights at all points of the consumer cycle to over half of the Fortune 500 companies.
