Four Perkins Coie Attorneys Recognized as Client Service All-Stars by BTI Consulting

SEATTLE (February 17, 2022)—Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that David Fentin, Meredith Halama, John Hardin, and Eric Wolff have been named to BTI Consulting's Client Service All-Stars 2022 list. The annual BTI report recognizes attorneys delivering the "absolute best client service" throughout the year.

BTI solicits feedback from general counsels and decision-makers at large organizations regarding the legal services they have received to identify which attorneys are truly delivering superior service for their clients. Ranked attorneys are also described by BTI as attorneys who go above and beyond for their clients by providing pragmatic, practical advice and understanding the business of the clients they serve.

David Fentin concentrates his practice on complex commercial agreements, privacy and data security compliance, and product launch advice. He counsels clients with respect to the legal issues affecting internet products and services, including e-commerce sites, mobile devices and applications, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, autonomous vehicle systems, social media platforms, ad networks, enterprise cloud services, electronic payment solutions, and blockchain deployments.

Meredith Halama is the firmwide co-chair of Perkins Coie's Privacy & Security practice and Ad Tech Privacy & Data Management practice. Meredith focuses her practice on privacy, with a particular emphasis on interest-based advertising, mobile advertising, data monetization, and related business practices. Meredith counsels a broad range of companies on how to comply with applicable privacy and marketing laws, represents clients in privacy-related litigation and regulatory proceedings, and drafts and negotiates agreements related to data sharing and privacy compliance.

John Hardin is a veteran trial attorney with broad experience in complex commercial disputes. His experience has led clients to call him with a wide array of issues ranging from contractual disputes to product liability and a variety of other business problems. His ability to provide pragmatic advice has enabled him to handle disputes across industries and markets, including automotive, energy, fintech, healthcare, insurance recovery, oil and gas, and real estate and land use. His practice is national in scope and includes administrative, arbitration, and traditional courtroom settings. He also serves as the Dallas office's hiring partner, commercial litigation lead, and liaison for the firm's Pro Bono Committee.

Eric Wolff, the firmwide appellate practice chair, is an established authority on questions of federal jurisdiction, removal, and forum non conveniens. He has written hundreds of briefs across a wide array of issues in both trial and appellate courts. Eric has argued over 35 appeals in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit as well as numerous cases in other federal and state courts of appeals.

The BTI Client Service All-Stars list draws on data collected in BTI's ongoing Annual Survey of General Counsel. The 2022 survey included more than 350 in-depth interviews that were conducted between January and November of 2021 to form this year's list.
