Chian advises clients on both domestic and cross-border transactions and is informed by her extensive experience in industry-specific transactions.
Chian Wu represents public and private companies, financial institutions, and private equity funds in all aspects of commercial lending and real estate, venture debt, and capital market financings. She advises lenders and borrowers with respect to domestic and cross-border syndicated credit facilities lending in Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Japan. Chian counsels clients on asset-based lending transactions, software-as-a-service lending, acquisition financing, secured and unsecured credit facilities, term loan As, term loan Bs, letters of credit transactions, and credit tenant loans. She also advises on real estate loans for the acquisition, development, construction, and permanent financing of various types of properties.
The chair of the firm's Financial Transactions practice, Chian also offers clients insights gained from her experience in banking and financial transactions involving media and communications, maritime lending, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, construction, agriculture, technology, intellectual property, and hospitality companies.
